Apples & Oranges Factory (AOF) is dedicated to meeting the needs of children enrolled in organized child care programs and emergency shelters throughout the State of Texas. The Texas Department of Agricultural uses
non-profit organizations called "Sponsors" to work directly with organized child care programs, the CACFP is a federal program supported by your tax dollars. The program was created by Congress in 1968 in response to
the great need of providing healthy nutritious meals to the children of working parents. 
 
This program is funded & administrated by U.S. Department of Agricultural.

Program I        Nutrition Sponsors of the CACFP
 
Integrating healthy meals into organized Child Care Programs.
Child Care Centers, At-Risk Centers, and Emergency Shelters.
We also operate a Summer Food Program during the Summer
(Monetary donations not accepted under this program)
 
 
 
 
Program II                  Community Youth Services
 
Free & unique services for under privileged youth living in shelters and terminally
ill children in hospitals. We provide services throughout the State of Texas.

Program III                 AOF Drop-in Child Care by the Hour (Coming in 2013)  
        
A license child care program designed to help busy moms attend meetings, 
run errands, keep appointments, shop, play a sport, see a movie, eat out .....Knowing your children are safe and having fun. Your kids 
will enjoy games, art, music, story time, and just being with other kids.
We also have a preschool education program.  Ages 2-12 yrs.
